My name is Xyclali (SEE-Claw-Lee) Nuñez. I am currently a senior at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a public relations degree with a business foundations certificate.
As a native from the city of El Paso, I love to visit home and see how much the city has grown. This past summer I was an intern for a local events promotions company, J&K Present, where I was able to contribute to the growth of the El Paso community. Through my passion for brand marketing and event planning, I used my creativity to create engaging experiences for “El Pasoans” to enjoy.
An interest for fashion developed when I was a little girl and has inspired me to pursue a career in an industry I feel would fit me best. As a member of CollegeFashionista, a global and digital community that allows for college students to share their insights on the fashion and beauty industry to help propel their future careers, I strive to create content that inspires others to express themselves through clothing. This has allowed me to connect with others who have the same interests as I do and network with other fashion industry leaders.
I aim to work in an in-house setting to continue to collaborate and work creatively with others of different skill sets and backgrounds and have a deeper understanding of what the company wants for the face of the brand.
My passion for travel and natural creativity help me curate eclectic content. My curiosity has led me to meet some of the most inspiring people and gain a better insight of the city I am currently living in. By meeting new people, making memorable experiences and staying true to my roots, I have yet to see where life takes me next.
